Normanby Hall Country Park is a lovely regency Hall with its elegant period interiors is set 300 acres of beautiful parkland, gardens and pleasure grounds. Discover Lincolnshire’s rich cultural heritage in the fascinating Farm Museum or take a relaxing walk through the woodland or deer park where herds of red and fallow deer peacefully graze. There is an adventure playground, nature trails and a host of special events and children’s activities throughout the year.
The contemporary 20-21 visual arts centre boasts a wide range of facilities including three excellent spaces for a regularly changing programme of art and craft exhibitions, a cafe, a contemporary art and craft shop stocking unique, hand-made items, greeting cards and prints, an education room and a state of the art computer suite for public use.
Grimsby is one of the largest fishing ports in the world. Great Grimsby has an extensive commercial trade in fish, coal, grain, and timber as well as an important frozen food industry. Grimsby was first founded by Grim, a Danish fisherman. 'By' means 'village' in Old Norse and 'city' or 'town' in the modern Danish language. The town was previously titled "Great Grimsby" to distinguish it from Little Grimsby, a village about 14 miles (22 km) to the south, near Louth.

The tour includes a recreation of a 1950s voyage to fishing grounds, through the trawler, with authentic aromas and moving deck, and scenes from the street and home life of old Grimsby. A series of temporary exhibitions will be open through the summer and the winter. The museum also holds a collection of historic vessels in the adjacent dock.
Barton-upon-Humber lies in the shadow of the magnificent Humber Bridge which spans the River Humber to Hessle. Barton boasts many impressive & historic buildings which can be seen as you wander through the town. These buildings enforce how important this historic town has been through the ages. Barton is still a vibrant town with a traditional shopping area & a thriving waterfront.
