Voting is now open in the Pride Magazines Good Food Awards 2026, and once again the results are in readers’ hands. You can nominate any Lincolnshire restaurant, pub, caf\u00e9 or producer, whether or not it advertises with us. Voting closes on 2nd November 2026, and the winners will be announced in the January edition of Lincolnshire Pride.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

How to vote<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

There are two ways to cast your vote. The quickest is online here<\/a>, or scan the QR code in the November issue with your phone. Alternatively, fill in the printed form and post it to: Pride Magazines Good Food Awards 2026, Pride Magazines, PO Box 337, Boston, Lincolnshire PE21 1HA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

We ask that you vote in each category if you can, and that you don’t nominate any business in which you have a personal or professional interest. Multiple entries, such as photocopied forms, won’t be counted.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The six categories<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant of the Year:<\/strong> The finest restaurant or quality pub dining in the county, combining skilled cooking, quality ingredients, attentive service and a welcoming atmosphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Caf\u00e9, Coffee Shop, Bar or Bistro of the Year: <\/strong>Daytime favourites for breakfast, brunch, lunch or coffee and cake, with accomplished baking and friendly service.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Restaurant with Rooms:<\/strong> country inns, restaurants with bedrooms and boutique hotels where dinner, a restful night and a good breakfast add up to a destination in its own right.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Best International Dining:<\/strong> Restaurants that represent global food traditions, from Indian, Italian and Thai to Mediterranean, Asian and Spanish, with skill and authenticity.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Food Producer\/Retailer of the Year:<\/strong> The farmers, bakers, butchers, fishmongers and independent shops behind the county’s finest food.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Drinks Producer of the Year:<\/strong> Breweries, distilleries, vineyards, cider makers and producers of alcohol-free drinks, tea and coffee.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Why your vote matters<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hospitality is one of Britain’s largest employers, supporting around 2.6 million jobs, but the sector is under severe pressure. Energy bills, food inflation, higher wage and National Insurance costs and business rates have squeezed margins to 2% or less for many operators, while customer numbers and spending have fallen.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Recognition from readers is a practical way to support the businesses that make Lincolnshire a great place to eat and drink. As always, our awards are reader-led, independent of advertising and open to the whole county.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Last year’s winners: <\/strong>The 2025 winners included Antlers at the White Hart in Lincoln (Restaurant of the Year), the Grain Store at Doddington Hall (Caf\u00e9 & Bar of the Year), the Pig & Whistle at Healing Manor (Best Restaurant with Rooms), San Pietro in Scunthorpe (Best International Dining), Myers Bakery & Deli in Horncastle and Tipplemill Distillery near Boston.
