Take the Peterborough Geological and Paleontological Group (PGPG) for instance, who regularly visited Ketton\u2019s Heidelberg-owned quarry to carry out fieldwork.<br>Their meticulous work has paid off recently with the discovery of remains from the world\u2019s first pterosaur, which it\u2019s believed dates back to the Middle Jurassic period.<br>The full wingspan of the fossil is tentatively estimated at between 3.5 to 4m and is around 170m years old.
