Festival of Chaplaincy at Lincoln Cathedral

The first Lincoln Festival of Chaplaincy was held recently, with over 500 people attending a black tie fundraising dinner to mark the occasion. The dinner was held in the beautifully-illuminated nave of Lincoln Cathedral, and included a champagne reception, with John Inverdale as MC for the evening and Sir Jonathan Vam-Tam as guest speaker. Guests enjoyed a four-course dinner, with music courtesy of the Ensemble of the Band of RAF College. The evening preceded a weekend celebrating the work and achievements of chaplaincy in Lincolnshire and beyond, with exhibitors including Lincolnshire’s Rural Support Network (LRSN), the RAF, Police Chaplaincy UK, Lincolnshire Agricultural Society, United Lincolnshire Hospitals Trust and the University of Lincoln and Bishop Grosseteste University.
