Spas in Lincolnshire

Whether you’re craving a midweek reset or a full weekend of calm, our 2026 Spa Guide gathers the finest sanctuaries within easy reach of Lincolnshire. From the beautifully rural Grange at Pointon and the ever-popular Eden Hall to the destination delights of Ragdale Hall and Homefield Grange – plus a handful of other shining names – these escapes are close enough for a day visit, yet far enough to feel like a proper change of scene.

Most entry packages give you hours of easy drifting between thermal and temperature zones such as sauna and steam room, before a swim in the pool. Add-on treatments – a glow-giving facial, a deep-tissue massage, a winter-warming body ritual – are the perfect way to unwind when the days are short. Staying well is effortless too: expect healthy, delicious lunches or indulgent afternoon teas.

Look out for twilight sessions, couples’ retreats and great-value two-friends-together deals that make it simple to tailor your escape. Some are ideal for slipping home by bedtime; others invite an overnight stay without travelling far.

Best for Quiet Relaxation: The Grange Spa

Hidden away down a quiet country lane, between Grantham, Sleaford and Bourne, The Grange at Pointon is in a really calm and peaceful setting. Whilst it has all of the facilities that spa-goers could wish for, it still feels wonderfully intimate: cushioned lounges, fireside corners, and a calm, unfussy country-house atmosphere from the moment you arrive.

Guests book by package, and every option begins with a welcome drink and includes full use of the facilities, plus robe and towel hire. If time is tight, the Half Day Experience is a four-hour escape that starts from £65 per person midweek (Tuesday to Thursday), or from £78 on Fridays and Saturdays, making it an easy pick for a morning breather or an afternoon switch-off, with lunch or treatments added if you fancy making more of it.

For a longer reset, full day packages run for around eight hours and include a light, locally sourced lunch. The straightforward Full Day Experience is priced from £102 per person midweek, and from £116 on Fridays and Saturdays, ideal if you want maximum spa time and the freedom to choose treatments à la carte.

Signature days add dedicated pampering for those who want something more structured. The Grange Escape, from £205 per person, pairs your full day with an 80-minute harmonising ritual.

Naturally Nourished, from £271 per person, is a head-to-toe option layering three of the spa’s most popular therapies to leave skin soft, muscles loose and energy restored. Rural Reviver Full Day, from £244 per person, focuses on deeper tension release with a generous treatment allowance that suits anyone arriving frazzled and leaving floated. There are also men’s and maternity-focused variations at similar full day price points, so you can tailor the visit to a specific need or occasion.

Facilities are impressively comprehensive for a rural hideaway. The 12-metre pool is edged by a soothing waterfall, and the heat suite combines a gemstone steam bath, aroma steam room, herbal sauna, and an ice fountain for that bracing hot-cold glow.

Experience showers add scented mists and rainfall between sessions, while a quiet relaxation room, sensory loungers, and a small library nook encourage proper, phones-off lounging. A compact fitness suite rounds out the day for anyone who likes a gentle swim-and-stretch rhythm to their visit.

Treatments are powered by two stand-out brands: Thalgo for replenishing facials and body rituals, and the contemporary, British-brand Pink Boutique skincare.

Looking ahead to February, the spa’s Date Night package makes a lovely Valentine’s idea at £48 per person: an after-hours couples session with two hours’ use of the facilities and a toast-to-you feel that slips perfectly into the evening before dinner. Regular Twilight Spa sessions are a similarly easy indulgence, from £42 per person, giving you that dusky, candle-soft serenity for friends or partners who want a lower-commitment way to soak, steam and unwind.

Best for Visiting with Friends: Eden Hall, Elston

Set in the gardens of a grand Victorian mansion near Elston, Eden Hall is very much the go-big spa of our patch – a day retreat where you’re handed a map on arrival and encouraged to roam. A £4m investment in 2023 has given the place a nice refresh and Eden Hall won the International Spa Awards’ ‘Best Day Spa’ title in 2023.

The headline act is the outdoor Spa Garden: a beautifully landscaped haven with one of the UK’s largest outdoor hydrotherapy pools, kept deliciously warm year-round, plus sociable outdoor hot tubs, chic lounging terraces, a fire-pit nook and an outdoor sauna for crisp-countryside resets. Wander between planting-filled pathways and you’ll find quiet corners made for reading, napping or simply watching the steam rise into the trees.

Indoors, the salt-water Vitality Pool is a gentle, buoyant float, while the thermal spa suite offers a circuit of heat and water experiences – from aromatic steam rooms and saunas to herbal caldarium warmth, salt-inhalation, ice-cooling and experience showers – all designed to coax circulation and calm in equal measure.

Wellness here isn’t an afterthought. Throughout the day there are complimentary classes in the studio and grounds – yoga, Pilates, barre, stretch and strength sessions are regular favourites – so you can be as active or as horizontal as you please.

Treatment choices draw on three premium houses: Elemis for high-performance facials and body rituals, organic seaweed specialist VOYA for deeply nourishing wraps and massage, and plant-powered Grown Alchemist for modern, antioxidant-rich skin therapy, giving the menu a smart mix of results-driven and naturally restorative options.

For a classic full day escape, the Purity Spa Day starts from around £119 per person and includes spa access from 9am–6pm, use of the Spa Garden and all facilities, a three-course lunch, and entry to wellness classes.

If you want your day topped with a treatment, the Serenity Spa Day is excellent value from about £179 per person, adding a 60-minute bespoke therapy from the Serenity collection with the same all-day access and lunch.

For maximum pampering, the Infinity Spa Day from roughly £249 per person includes two 60-minute treatments, so you can pair a facial with a full body ritual and still have plenty of time to drift between pools.

Evenings are just as tempting. The Twilight Spa from about £70 per person gives you three hours of spa time (7pm–10pm) including the Spa Garden, paired with a light main meal in The Vinery brasserie.

For an extra treat, Twilight Indulgence from around £150 per person adds a 60-minute treatment and extends check-in from 5.30pm, letting you watch the spa lights come up as the day slips away. The Vinery itself is a bright, botanical dining room that brings the outdoors in, serving relaxed, seasonal plates that feel indulgent without undoing the good work of your day.

Eden Hall, Elston

Best for Longer Stays: Ragdale Hall Spa

Ragdale Hall Spa may sit just over the county line in Leicestershire, but for many Lincolnshire readers it’s still one of the most rewarding close-by luxury escapes — and more importantly, it’s a proper destination spa offering residential stays as well as day visits.

Set in a 13-acre Victorian country-house estate, the Hall has been refining its craft for more than half a century. Behind the red-brick façade you’ll find six pools, 12 heat-and-water experiences, and a treatment team of around 130 therapists, all supported by 51 years of spa know-how. With 93 residential rooms on site, staying over feels like stepping into a calm, country-house cocoon: robe on, timetable off, and a whole day (or two) to drift between thermal facilities, relaxation lounges and the grounds.

The spa day begins the moment you step into the thermal suite, where heat, steam and water are layered to suit every mood.

There are classic saunas and steam rooms for deep muscle release, alongside more experiential spaces designed to reset the senses: warm air lounges, contrasting temperature cabins and a series of vitality-style experiences that encourage you to move between hot, cool and rest.

Outdoors, the pools bring a lovely change of pace — especially when you’re gliding through warm water with views over the gardens and the grand house beyond. Indoors, expect generous poolside space for lounging and quiet reading, plus plentiful nooks where you can simply let the day slow down.

If you’re the kind of person who likes a little activity blended into your recovery, the gym and studio timetable offer a smart counterpoint to all that stillness, letting you balance gentle movement with full-body unwinding.

For spa days, Ragdale Hall Spa offers everything from a quick twilight reset to full day indulgence. The Evening Spa Experience, with a few hours of late access and a welcome drink, starts at £87. Twilight Taster spa nights with dinner are from £140.

Day spa favourites such as the Experience Day and Blissful Brunch & Spa Day begin at £165, while Harmony Days (with more included treatment time) start at £195 and Relaxation Days from £235. For deeper restoration, Wellbeing Days start at £330, and there are also pampering for two and mother-and-daughter style packages for special occasions.

Residential breaks are fully inclusive and usually require a two-night minimum. Two-Night Spa Stay with prices from £510 per person for 2 nights. Each stay includes breakfast, lunch and dinner, unlimited use of the spa and gym, guests can choose a 40-minute treatment from a selection such as a Clarins Heavenly Hands Treatment or a Classic Facial.

Treatments lean on trusted luxury partners Elemis, Clarins and Sea Magik, while Beauty Express covers manicures, pedicures, brows, lashes and express facials — perfect between swims or before dinner. Big, beautifully run and really luxurious!

Best for Wellness: Homefield Grange

Wellness meets luxury at Homefield Grange, a discreet retreat just outside our patch in Rushton, Northamptonshire, yet close enough to feel like a realistic escape for Lincolnshire readers. Its unique character comes from founder Suzanne Peck — a naturopath, nutritionist and health coach who established Homefield in 2004 with a clear mission: to deliver genuinely science-based wellness without gimmicks, fads or quick fixes. Nutrition, sustainable fitness and mental wellbeing are the core of every programme, designed to create changes that last well beyond the stay.

Homefield’s residential retreats run from two to seven nights, each shaped around the most common goals guests bring with them. Options include The Detox Retreat, Mind Body Reset, Weight Loss & Maintenance and the ‘Take a Break’ from Alcohol programme.

Retreats are tailored to the individual, and on nutrition-focused weeks this can involve diagnostic blood testing to identify deficiencies, cholesterol markers or food intolerances. It’s a properly joined-up approach: movement, mindful practices and treatments support the nutritional work, while food demos and health talks make it easy to take the learning home. Plant-based menus are prepared by in-house chefs, with herbal teas and healthy snacks always on hand, and every guest receives a personalised plan and timetable.

For busy lives, Homefield also offers One Day Wellness Retreats — usually at weekends — giving a snapshot of the Grange’s results-driven but nurturing style. These days weave together yoga, breathwork, meditation, sound bowls, food demonstrations and health talks, with four themed formats: Luxury Recover & Reset (crystalwork and warm poultices for muscular and spinal tension), Relax (a 25-minute deep-tissue massage with calming oils), Bathe & Breathe (molecular hydrogen inhalation therapy alongside spa time), and a Twilight Experience focused on evening access to the Living Well Spa.

Despite the health-first ethos, Homefield still feels like a true spa sanctuary. With just 17 private bedrooms and fewer than 20 guests at any time, the atmosphere is personal and calm, helped by a firm mobile-phone ban that keeps the outside world at bay. The Living Well Spa includes a chlorine-free hydropool, salt inhalation and herbal sauna, infrared beds, an ice trough, and a wide treatment list spanning massage, wraps, bathing rituals, reiki, reflexology, illuminating and anti-ageing facials, plus hypnotherapy and NLP.

Residential prices start at £749pp for a two-night Weekend Relax, £849pp for the ‘Take a Break’ from Alcohol weekend and Luxury Yoga, Pilates & Meditation Weekend, £1,399pp for the three-night Restore Retreat, £2,357pp for five-night programmes (Weight Loss & Maintenance, Detox, Mind Body Reset), and £2,613pp for the seven-night Ultimate New You. Effective, enjoyable and sustainable. Homefield Grange is proof that serious wellbeing can still feel wonderfully restorative.
